Richmond, the Fort Bend County seat on the Brazos River, has two generations of garage slab under one name. Inside the old city limits, the median home dates to 1979, so about half are past 45 years old. Across the three Richmond ZIP codes, the median home dates to 2008 to 2013. An epoxy garage floor here starts with knowing which slab you have.
Epoxy One is based in Houston, and Richmond sits about 18 miles southwest of our Memorial office, straight line. We have installed floor coatings across Greater Houston since 2008. In Richmond we install epoxy garage floors first, plus polyaspartic and polyurea topcoats, metallic floors, stained concrete and business floors. Call or text (281) 831-5656 for a free estimate.

Richmond traces back to 1822, when settlers camped near a bend in the Brazos River. A log fort built at that bend became the heart of a settlement known as Fort Bend, the name the county still carries. The town was named after Richmond, England, and the Republic of Texas first incorporated it in 1837. In 1899, a great flood surrounded the town.
The old city limits have grown slowly. Richmond had 11,081 people in 2000, and the Census Bureau's 2019 to 2023 estimate is 12,117. Of the 4,716 housing units inside the city, 2,655 are single-family detached homes. Its historic houses include the 1883 John Moore Home and the Long-Smith Cottage.
A garage slab from 1979 or earlier may carry old paint or sealer, plus cracks. Every slab we coat gets diamond ground, and the grind takes that old film off. Then we fill the cracks and patch the control joints before the epoxy base coat goes down. For an older driveway or front walk, stained concrete driveways add a stain and a sealer to the existing concrete.
Pecan Grove is a master-planned community and Census-designated place about 4 miles northeast of downtown Richmond, with the Brazos River along its southwest edge. It counts 24,798 people and 8,779 housing units, and 8,416 of those are single-family detached homes. The median home there dates to 1995, so about half the homes are past 30 years old.
A 1990s slab sits between Richmond's two generations. It may carry an old sealer and some hairline cracks, and it gets the same full grind and moisture test. The most common residential garage finish we install is full flake. The vinyl chips hide small flaws in the concrete and add texture underfoot.
Back patios and porches take full sun here. Our patio coatings pair an epoxy base with a UV stable topcoat such as polyaspartic, which does not yellow. Polyurea is another choice for an outdoor slab, since it flexes and cures fast.
Most of Richmond's growth landed outside the old city limits. ZIP 77406 has a median build year of 2008, ZIP 77469 sits at 2011 and ZIP 77407 at 2013. Together the three ZIPs hold more than 60,000 single-family detached homes. In each one, at least half the homes were built in 2008 or later.
This is the Richmond of master-planned communities such as Harvest Green, Aliana, Veranda, Long Meadow Farms and Grand Mission. A young slab can still hold moisture, so we test every slab before the base coat. If the reading runs high, a vapor barrier primer goes down first. Our guide on why epoxy floors peel covers the moisture side.
We install for about 200 custom home builders in the Houston area. Our crews work around the builder's other trades. A custom builder's employee wrote in a Google review that the crews always leave the site clean. Inside a new home, a metallic floor suits a media room or foyer, and it takes about three days.
As the county seat, Richmond holds Fort Bend County's historic courthouse. In May 2026, the city reported on Circle Oak, a 293-acre development at I-69 and FM 762. The update lists retail, restaurants, office space, a medical office building and a warehouse.
New buildings like these start as fresh slabs, and each one gets a moisture test before any coating. We build commercial epoxy flooring 2 to 3 millimeters thick, our usual range for commercial work. Warehouse and plant floors can take safety striping and marked walkways.
From our Memorial office, the drive runs southwest on US 59 (I-69) past Sugar Land. US 59 and US 90A both run through Richmond. Estimates are free on weekdays, and quotes often come back within a day. We also work next door in Rosenberg, in Sugar Land and up in Fulshear.
We run four installation crews and have coated more than 3.5 million square feet of floor across Greater Houston. We are rated 4.6 on Google by 140 reviewers. The work is backed by a written warranty, so ask us for the terms.

Full flake, solid color or metallic finishes over an epoxy base, topped with a clear coat. Most Houston garages are a two-day job.
Learn More
Polyaspartic floor coatings cure fast and hold their color in the sun. We install them as the clear coat over an epoxy base, or as a full one day system.
Learn More
Polyurea floor coatings cure fast and stay flexible under hard use. We install them over an epoxy base, or as a full system when the schedule is tight.
Learn More
Metallic pigment worked into clear epoxy, poured over a solid color base. Every floor comes out one of a kind, and most take about three days.
Learn More
Vinyl flake broadcast into an epoxy base coat, then locked under a clear topcoat. The chips hide slab flaws and add grip, and it is the finish most Houston garages get.
Learn More
A pigmented epoxy base under a clear topcoat, in one even color from bone and tan to gray, slate and safety red. The simplest finish we install, and the one that makes a garage or shop read as one clean surface.
Learn More
Colored quartz broadcast into an epoxy base coat, then sealed under clear coats. The grains give the floor grip, and the clear coats set how sandy or smooth it feels.

Epoxy floor systems for warehouses, aircraft hangars, auto shops, showrooms and plant floors. Safety striping, walkways and logos go right into the floor.
Learn More
Coated floors for T-hangars, corporate hangars, maintenance hangars and museum hangars across Greater Houston. We build them on an epoxy base with a tough topcoat, plus striping and logos if you want them.
Learn More
Quartz and urethane floor systems for kitchens, bars and food plants. Coved at the walls, sealed at the drains and textured for wet floors.
Learn More
Slip-resistant coatings for floors that get wet or see heavy traffic. We build the grip into the floor with a quartz broadcast, an aluminum oxide additive or a textured topcoat.
Learn More
Acid stains and dyes put the color inside the slab, then a sealer takes the wear. We stain and seal interior floors, porches, patios and driveways across Greater Houston.
Learn More
Acid stain soaks into your existing driveway and turns plain gray concrete a lasting earth tone. A clear sealer over the color stands up to tires and weather.

We coat the bare concrete slab in living rooms, kitchens, foyers, media rooms and home gyms. Choose solid color, metallic, flake or quartz, all installed with low-odor products.

We coat backyard patios, covered patios, porches and entry steps with an epoxy base and a UV stable topcoat. Full flake is the usual finish, and grit in the topcoat adds grip when wet.

These guys did my garage floor back in November, Pablo really knows the technical knowledge and recommend a vapor barrier to be put down first. 3 months in and it still looks brand new. Went with Folsom color choice. Super easy to work with and plan around the drywall crew. Highly recommended!
I work for a custom home builder in the Houston area and we have been using Xpedite Coating for many years on our garage epoxy floors. They are very professional and timely and always leave the site clean after they are finished. I would highly recommend them for your next epoxy flooring need.
I used Xpedite Coatings twice to finish my epoxy flake garage floor at 2 properties. This guy is professional at what they do. The crew came and finished the job in a timely manner. The results look great and price is competitive. Highly recommended.
We used Xpedite to epoxy our garage floor. Of the 4 quotes we received theirs was not only the best but the most honest. Rather than try to upsell us on a premium product or more square foot coverage they recommended a more modest plan given our use case, and we're transparent about the liters of product they would be using. They were fast and clean, and the garage floor looks beautiful!
Jose Pablo has done three garages for my family. Each one as beautiful and functional as the next. This time we did all white and it's phenomenal. The company did the floors for the Lonestar Flight Museum, so if the floors they made stay white and clean and withstand the traffic of moving 40 or more planes per month, my garage with my little comings and goings will be just right.
I am a wedding venue owner and was in need of replacing our floors. I got over 10 quotes from different flooring companies. Pablo had very competitive pricing and had way more knowledge than any other floor company that i interviewed. His guys did a great job on the flooring. We had to do some additional work afterwards on it based on the usage of our floors and Pablo went above and beyond to make sure that the floors were exactly how we needed them to be for our clientele. He is trustworthy and extremely professional and goes above and beyond for his clients! Use him for your floor project you will not regret it!
